Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be back for my second year coaching with the Seals. I started swimming at 5 years old and swam in BVSSL through my senior year of high school for a total of 13 years in the league. I was born and raised in Louisville, Colorado, and now attend the University of Connecticut where I am studying Biomedical Engineering. I grew up swimming and have created some of the best memories and friendships through it. I value the lessons and skills it has taught me both in the pool and outside of it. This will be my sixth season coaching, and I look forward to doing my best to support every swimmer in every way I can, as well as creating a positive environment for growth. I can’t wait to have a great season!
Hi swimmers and parents! My name is Zoe, and I grew up in Lafayette, Colorado. Now, I attend college at Arizona State University, where I study Elementary Education. My swimming experience started very young at Bob Burger Rec and continued when I joined The Seals at 5 years old. I swam for The Seals until I was 14, when I switched to competitive diving, and I continue to swim as a hobby. I also began teaching swim lessons at the rec center when I was 16, and this is my second season coaching for The Seals. My favorite part of the swim team is the meets. They are a great opportunity to bond with the team and for swimmers to show off their amazing skills. My greatest goal as a coach is to help swimmers reach their personal goals and make sure that everyone has a fun and positive experience. I can’t wait to see you at the pool!
My name is Coach Savannah and I started swimming when I was 6 years old where I continued swimming until I graduated from high school for a total of 11 years. Throughout this time my passion for not only the sport but also the swimming community never wavered, and I strive to ensure that other swimmers (new or experienced) don’t lose that passion either. I consistently work to build up a swimmer’s confidence in not only their swimming abilities, but also in themselves and ensure that they feel like a valued part of the team. A couple fun facts about me is that I was born and raised in Colorado, I am working towards my bachelors in Marine Sciences and Applied Mathematics in Rhode Island, my favorite color is blue, and I know a lot of fish facts (did you know that whale sharks are a type of filter feeding shark?). I'm so excited to be back and have a fun yet productive season this summer! See ya’ll at the pool!
Hey team! I’m beyond excited to join Seals as a coach this summer! I have been swimming since I was 3 and competitively since I was 7. I was a club swimmer up until two summers ago, when I joined Seals, which was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m currently studying Biochemistry and Public Health at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I’m also on the swim club (SKO BUFFS!). I absolutely love spending time with my friends and family, going on hikes, or picking up a new craft hobby. I have been swimming practically my whole life, and joining Seals made me fall in love with the sport again. That being said, I believe summer league is an incredibly valuable and fun experience, and I hope to help provide that experience for every swimmer however I can. We have a great season ahead of us, and I can’t wait to get to know everyone!
